Clubs

It consists of the following:

A. Art Club: The art club organizes art projects to enhance the learners’ creativity and self expression. Through the weeks, learners are exposed to various forms mediums in art such as drawing, painting, clay and craft. Through this exposure learners will gain a greater understanding of concepts and ideas in fine art and will actively participate in Art Competitions.

B. Craft Club: Learners love to do craft projects. They love to create and their imaginations are wide open. Exposing them to different mediums whether be it crayons, clay, markers, paints or stamps is our goal in this class. You never know what might a child’s creativity. At this age there is nothing right or wrong, just lots of great chances to let learners work on their motor skills, feel confident about creating new things and giving them a fun way to spend their time. The most important thing in this club is for them to explore their creative impulses and self expression.

The goal of Math club is to reinforce and exercise the mathematical knowledge and skills taught as part of math curriculum designed to meet the math standards. Although many lessons explain and teach new terminology, concepts, principles, and skills, the club focuses on applying previously learned skills.

The Science and Technology Club focuses on what science and technology ‘looks and sounds like’ in the classroom. It builds on the notion that young children are curious about the world in which they live and learn about the world through observing, using their senses and exploring.

Studies show that students who learn a second language at an early age pick it up much easier. The Language Club is an introduction to the languages offered within the Samithi English Medium School which includes English, Hindi, Gujarati and Sanskrit. During the club activity, the learners will learn the basic fundamentals and phrases needed to converse at a beginner’s level.

Dance club is not just for the learners who want to become competitive dancers, but also for those who want to meet people of all ages with a similar interest. Dancing is a great way to keep fit, socialise and learn a new skill!

We know that we are a part of Environment we live in and the solution to many environment problems lie in our attitude towards environment. The best way to attempt to bring about a change in the attitude in the society is through children. They are single most important influence in any family. The main objective of the club includes the following:

A. To make children understand environment and environmental problems.

B. To provide environmental education opportunities for school children.

C. To utilise the unique position of school children as conduits for awareness of the society at large.

D. To facilitate children’s participation in decision making in areas related to environment and development.

E. To bring children into direct contact with the environmental problems facing the society they live in and make them think of solutions.

F. To involve children in action based programmes related to environment in their surrounding.

The main aim of this club is to be enhance general knowledge and popularizing quizzing as a mind-sport among learners. It will also work on creating more sophisticated and more talented group of learners with a vast and deep knowledge in different areas.

This club will work on to bring to the fore the latest skills of the students in the field of music and to import world class training to the learners in various area of music to ultimately promote Indian and western Music culture with the utilization of the state-of-the-art instruments.

Apart from considering sports and games as a recreational activity, the main aim is to change the amateur approach of the learners towards a strategic one which enhance the development of the brain.

The primary objective of the club is to provide a platform for students who are interested in learning fundamentals related to business.

Events have long played an important role in human society. Whether they be personal celebrations, festivals, carnivals or fairs, societies over the world have enjoyed organizing and attending events. Moreover, the event industry has been the business growth success story of the past decade. All events are dynamic and challenging management environments that require expertise in several business disciplines, together with an understanding of the social and cultural impacts on stakeholders. This club will introduce the learners to the emerging field of event management.
